Falling.....

Before I went to work this morning....

I stepped out on the deck and captured a few images of fall.

The leaves were brilliant with color.

The morning air was a very chilly 34 degrees...

I hurried little Miss Sophie along and

headed back into the house for a

cup of hot coffee.

First Frost....

This morning was the first frost of the season...

I guess this is fitting for the first day of October.

Good thing Miss Sophie's short haircut has grown out...

She was a happy dog on her walk today.  
She likes the cold.

The birds are having a great time 
with all of the berries in the trees and bushes. 

It makes for a busy back yard.
